Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-12

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use HypeStorm ("the Service") and how we use it.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and profile image as provided by the authentication provider you choose (Google, GitHub, or email).
  • Uploaded media: the photos you upload for video generation, and the videos generated from them.
  • Usage information: records of your activity within the Service, such as generation jobs, orders and credit transactions.
  • Technical information: standard request logs (IP address, user agent) processed for security and rate limiting.
  • Analytics: how the Service is used (pages visited, approximate location, device and browser, and key actions such as signing up, starting a video or completing a purchase), collected with Google Analytics as described in Section 7.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information to operate and maintain the Service, render your videos, process payments and credits, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about your account.

4. Uploaded Photos and Generated Videos

Photos are kept only while they are needed: they are deleted as soon as your video is generated successfully, and kept for at most 7 days after a failed or timed-out job so you can retry without re-uploading. Generated videos are kept for 30 days — download them within that window. Uploads and videos live in private cloud storage, are never published or listed, and are not used to train our own models. Video generation runs on fal.ai (our rendering provider). To generate your video, your photos are transferred to the provider; every file we upload to the provider or that it produces for your video is kept at an unlisted link and set to be deleted automatically within 24 hours. You can request deletion at any time via support.

5. Payment Information

Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your card details on our servers; we retain only order and credit records.

6. Data Storage

The Service runs on Cloudflare. Data is stored in Cloudflare data centers in accordance with their infrastructure and security practices.

7. Cookies and Analytics

  • Essential: cookies that keep you signed in, and a preference stored in your browser (such as theme). These are always on because the Service cannot work without them. Our sign-in page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated abuse.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics): if allowed, Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to 2 years) so we can understand how the Service is used and improve it. Google processes this data on our behalf; we do not use Google advertising features and do not sell your data.
  • Your choice: visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first — analytics cookies are only set if you accept; until then, Google Analytics receives only cookieless signals without identifiers. Elsewhere, analytics cookies are on by default. Wherever you are, you can accept or reject them at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

We do not use advertising cookies.

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account, uploads, and associated data via our support email.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us via the support email in the footer to exercise these rights.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service.
